Pack Diaper Bags Like A Pro!

A  well-stocked diaper bag can save the day. But what do you really need in there? To know a list of the basics and some new ideas, check out our diaper bag checklist.

Packing the perfect diaper bag is an art. It depends a whole lot on how old your child is, how long you’ll be out, where you’re going, and how prepared you prefer to be. Use this go-to guide for all things you need to carry in a diaper bag.

Diapers: Diapers are must-haves. Stock your bag with an extra number of diapers. Little babies need more diaper changes each day than older babies.

These diapers are perfect for travel due to its ultra soft material and the added feature of magic gel technology, that can keep up to 12 hours of dryness.

Wipes: Throw in a travel-size box of wipes into your diaper bag. Another option: Pack a small stack of wipes in a resealable plastic storage bag. Be sure you have plenty.

These baby wipes from Johnson’s are a multi-tasker!

Diaper cream or ointment: It’s a good idea to carry around a tube of ointment or cream to protect your baby’s most delicate skin.

This Diaper diaper rash cream prevents and provides rapid relief from diaper dermatitis and protects against aggressive substances which could cause an inflammation on baby’s delicate skin.

Changing pad: You’ll want to add a changing pad to your bag. When shopping for a changing pad, be sure to choose one with a water-resistant finish for quick cleanup.

Go for these travel-friendly, waterproof changing pad that can be of great help, in case of messy diaper sessions.

Burp Clothes: These lightweight rags are perfect for throwing over your shoulder when burping baby. But they’re also good for wiping faces and spit-up. Cloth diapers are soft, absorbent and work well as burp cloths.

T-Shirt style closure and attractive patch work, this burp cloth is a good option to protect your baby’s clothes.

Blankets: These lightweight blankets take up little space and come in handy if you need to put your baby down for a nap. They’re also great for putting over your baby to protect his skin from brisk winds or cool temperatures.

Set of clothes: You never know what mess you will have to go through while travelling. Therefore, always pack extra set of clothes for your baby.

Dress your little one in absolute comfort with these cute and eye-catching onesies.

Favorite toy: Packing the favorite toy of your tiny tot makes a lot of sense as it would help diffuse boredom. The toys can be anything from a rattle to a mirrored gadget.

This tumbler doll wobbles, nods it’s head and never falls when pushed gently. It makes soft and sweet sounds, making the baby curious and happy at the same time.

Bib: No matter your baby’s age, always pack a bib. It can catch spit-up or keep her shirt dry when endless drool spills down her chin while she’s teething. Bibs are available with ties, hook-and-loop tape closures, and T-shirt necklines that you pull over baby’s head.

These cute cartoon pattern bibs are 100% cotton and great for teething and feeding baby.

Extras: Depending on how long you’re planning to be out, other diaper bag essentials you should pack are a ziplock bag for dirty diapers, and a bottle of formula if you’re not breastfeeding. And don’t forget a bottle of water and snack for you.

It is always better to make a business card or laminate an index card with your name, address, phone number and e-mail address in case your baby’s diaper bag gets lost.

Having said all that, enjoy those long journeys with your family with a well-equipped, multi-functional diaper bag. More of pleasure, less of worries!
